Position Overview:
The HR Director is responsible for leading a dedicated team of five professionals and ensuring that organizational objectives are achieved through effective management of the Human Resources function.

Key Responsibilities:
This role includes ensuring adherence to both federal and state employment regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards.

The HR Director will manage various essential functions within the Human Resources Department, which encompass:

  • Recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Maintenance of employee records
  • Administration of employee benefits
  • Training and professional development initiatives

This position will also support management with employee relations matters and may involve participation in internal investigations as needed.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of HR operations and its critical role in the overall success of the organization.

Essential skills include:

  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Experience with HRIS systems (such as ADP)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Project management expertise
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and California employment regulations

Education and Experience Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A certification in Human Resource Management is preferred.

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in a senior HR role within an organization of over 300 employees. Experience in a non-profit or healthcare setting is highly desirable.

In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations is essential.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000, influenced by the candidate's experience, education, and skills.
