Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team at Actalent.

As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for conducting routine testing of samples from customers, recording and documenting test results accurately, and writing detailed reports using our report templates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough testing of samples using various methods, including HFR, viscosity, Gas Chromatography (GC), and Karl Fischer titration.
  • Record and document test results accurately, ensuring high-quality and timely responses to technical requests.
  • Write detailed reports using provided templates, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Provide exceptional technical service for manufactured, distributed, or resale additive products.
  • Support new product development by assisting chemists in developing test data for new products.
Requirements
  • Experience using Karl Fischer titration and/or Gas Chromatography.
  • Exposure to mixing or blending chemicals.
  • Experience using scales and balances in academic labs or industry settings.
  • No significant unexplained gaps in employment or completion of chemistry courses with lab experience.
