Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our scientific team, you will be responsible for conducting routine testing of samples from customers, recording and documenting test results, and writing detailed reports using our report templates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine testing of samples from customers.
  • Record and document test results accurately.
  • Write detailed reports using provided templates.
  • Perform testing using HFR, viscosity, GC, and Karl Fischer methods.
  • Provide exceptional technical service for manufactured, distributed, or resale additive products.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality responses to technical requests.
  • Sample products, manage shipping and receiving of samples.
  • Organize the warehouse and maintain inventory of chemicals and samples.
  • Support new product development by assisting chemists in developing test data for new products.

Requirements:

  • Experience using Karl Fischer titration and/or Gas Chromatography.
  • Exposure to mixing or blending chemicals.
  • Experience using scales and balances in academic labs or industry settings.
  • No significant unexplained gaps in employment or completion of chemistry courses with lab experience.
