Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Application Analyst to join our team at Segway. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our business applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve system errors and issues, communicating effectively with users and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely access and updates to our business applications, maintaining real-time accuracy.
  • Manage change requests and system alterations, providing a central point of contact for our business applications.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, policies, and procedures to support our business applications.
  • Provision new users, provide system training, and customize applications to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure key functionalities are understood and implemented.
  • Provide technical support to all system users, escalating issues to senior IT staff as needed.
  • Design and implement custom reports and dashboards to support business functions.
  • Maintain control of access rights, security settings, and user privileges for our business applications.
  • Develop detailed process maps for sales, marketing, and business workflows.
  • Work with senior IT staff to manage project implementation and back-end integrations.
  • Serve as a communications liaison within IT and between IT and the business for releases, outages, and critical business impacting situations.

Requirements:

  • University degree or college diploma in information technology.
  • 3–5 years' experience in consumer electronics, retail, ecommerce, and bike industry as an application analyst.
  • Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills within complex enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of one of sales, logistics, accounting, service, or ecommerce business knowledge and solution design experience.
  • Solutions-oriented with exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and utilize new applications and software systems effectively and efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, priority-shifting environment.
