Working Schedule:
7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime and weekend work as required.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar and various heavy machinery.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues in engine, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all clients.
  • Safely operate machinery to identify diagnostic faults or technical challenges and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Build and sustain a service-oriented rapport with clients and supervisors.
  • Timely completion of service documentation.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a formal technical training program with at least three years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in engine, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Computer skills are essential; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook, is required.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and use of appropriate safety gear in the workshop.
  • Self-motivated with effective time management abilities.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills are essential.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and provide personal tools.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required, with no more than two minor violations in the past three years and no major violations in the last five years (Motor Vehicle Report will be conducted on the final candidate).
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

This role is situated in a workshop/warehouse environment. The position involves frequent walking, bending, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Appropriate safety equipment (e.g., safety glasses) may be necessary. The noise level in the work area is typically moderate to high. Occasional desk work may be required for communication purposes via telephone or email. Flexibility in working hours and schedules is essential. The physical demands outlined above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully execute the essential functions of this position.
