Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled Nurse Manager to lead our Cardiovascular Progressive Care team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our clinical area, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate clinical care, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to develop and implement strategic plans, initiatives, and evaluations.
- Contribute to the professional development of staff, students, and colleagues, fostering a culture of mutual respect and understanding.
- Participate in business goal achievement, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Recruit, welcome, and support new employees, promoting growth and learning within the Mission Health culture.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of five years of recent nursing experience, with two years in relevant clinical hospital experience and demonstrated leadership skills.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with the option to hold an eNLC (Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) license.
- National certification in your area of specialty within one year of accepting the role.
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
