Job Overview

Pace Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled Perinatal Behavioral Health Counselor to provide mental/behavioral support services for participants of the federally funded Healthy Start Initiative.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-person and remote behavioral health supportive services, including conducting thorough behavioral/mental health screenings and assessments, offering individual and group counseling, and creating comprehensive treatment plans and care plans.
  • Facilitate engaging monthly mental health support groups and prioritize attendance at all mandatory team meetings, including case conferences.
  • Assist in facilitating impactful professional development activities for the program staff.

Qualifications
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in and commitment to perinatal mental health care, with ability to train or willingness to train members of the Healthy Start team.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to trauma-informed mental health care and reproductive justice.
  • Strong understanding of social determinants of health and ability to collaborate with a diverse community of perinatal professionals.
