Medical Office LPN Endocrinology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Endocrinology team at Nuvance Health. As a Medical Office LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians and APRNs in their daily work.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for medical exams by gathering necessary materials and supplies.
- Obtain patients' medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant data.
- Administer injections and medications as directed by physicians or APRNs.
- Collect and analyze patient specimens as needed.
- Provide patient education on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
- Communicate with patients via phone to provide follow-up care and relay test results.
- Perform organizational tasks to support the Practice's mission and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- LPN licensure.
- Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
- Computer skills and data entry experience.
- Ability to obtain accurate patient vitals.
- Vaccine administration and medication preparation skills.
- Minimum one year of experience in a medical setting.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Phlebotomy and EKG skills.
This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The work schedule is 8 hours per day, with shifts between 8am and 7pm. The department is Endocrinology, and the salary range is $ hourly.
