Key Responsibilities- Verify member information and input data for pharmacists
- Educate members on pharmacy-based rules related to prescriptions and medication resources or assistance programs
- Process prior authorization requests from physicians' offices and ensure compliance with Medicare requirements
- Provide resolution to grievances and appeals issues
- Respond to inquiries from physicians, sales teams, and members related to formulary and prescription benefits
- Generate reports relating to rebates, physician utilization, Beers Criteria, Reliance members, and other ad hoc reports
- Maintain record-keeping of prior authorizations, rebates, and monthly reports
- High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience
- Current State Pharmacy Tech Certification or National Certification based on applicable state(s)
- Call center experience with high call volumes
- Prior authorization experience
- Patient care experience
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution. Our salary range for this position is $17.29/hour to $25.94/hour, based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company.
