At Bayview Physicians Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic to join our team in providing exceptional patient care in our urgent care setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in emergency medical services, with the ability to work under the supervision of a physician and provide assistance with patient care, including invasive and non-invasive procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to urgent care physicians in the delivery of patient care
  • Perform EKGs, IVs, and phlebotomy as needed
  • Collect and interpret patient data to identify age-specific needs
  • Work effectively as a team member with coworkers and providers

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of Paramedic or EMT-I training course
  • Virginia or National Registry EMT-I (Intermediate) or EMT-P (Paramedic) certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • One year of field experience preferred
