We are seeking two dedicated Inpatient Gastroenterologists to enhance the quality and efficiency of inpatient care within our esteemed healthcare organization. As part of a collaborative team of 33 specialists in gastroenterology, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the GI consult service for 20 weeks annually, ensuring effective navigation of inpatient workflows.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at elevating the standards of inpatient and urgent ambulatory GI care.
- Oversee 2 days of endoscopy weekly during 24 weeks per year, while managing an urgent GI clinic tailored for patients transitioning from hospital care.
- Engage in educational activities, mentoring fellows, and collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to uphold high-quality care standards.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Enjoy a flexible work schedule, with the option to work 20 weeks per year, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
