About the Role:
This role requires a dedicated and experienced nursing professional who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Nursing Care Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care. Your expertise in oncology nursing will be invaluable in this role, as you work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare teams to deliver exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, identifying their needs and developing individualized care plans
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans, ensuring that they are delivered efficiently and effectively
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible patient outcomes
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare teams
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in oncology nursing, incorporating new knowledge and skills into practice
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A current nursing diploma or degree from a recognized institution
• Licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Tennessee
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
• Advanced certifications in oncology nursing, such as ONS chemo/immunotherapy certification, highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
What We Offer:
