Job Summary
The Learning & Development Training Manager has global oversight for managing the design and implementation of the organization's learning strategies, training programs, safety and change management initiatives by collaborating with department heads and external resources to identify learning needs, develop innovative solutions to enhancing the knowledge and skills of employees, and ensure regular training compliance for all federal, state, safety, etc. required trainings are provided to foster professional growth, improve job performance, and support SaniSure's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive, training, learning and development strategy aligned with company goals.
- Analyze company needs and design customized learning programs to address skill gaps and career progression.
- Design, develop, and deliver effective learning programs, workshops, and courses, including e-learning, on-the-job training, new hire on-boarding, and blended learning solutions.
- Ensure training materials are engaging, up-to-date, and relevant to employee's roles and responsibilities.
- Apply latest learning technologies and resources, including AI based trainings, gamification, etc.
- Conduct regular needs assessments through surveys, management collaboration, and performance evaluations to identify current and future learning needs.
- Support managers in developing individual learning plans for employees as part of performance reviews and talent management processes.
- Assist with utilizing outside resources to implement leadership development initiatives, coaching, and succession planning.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback, assessments, and performance data.
- Oversee the implementation and management of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital tools to support training.
- Stay abreast of new training technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve training methods.
- Negotiate with third party training resources to ensure cost-effective delivery of training programs, as needed.
- Establish a training cadence to ensure all training programs are relevant and in compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Collaborate with department managers and/or process owners to conduct annual review of job related standard operating procedures (SOP's) and conduct updated trainings.
- Continuously improve training processes and materials to enhance learning outcomes with a focus on global harmonization for all training and SOP's.
- May participate in and/or provide support for on-site customer audits by providing applicable training records.
- Maintain records of employee training participation and certifications as required.
- Participate as a member of SaniSure's safety committee.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 5+ years' experience in learning and development.
- 3+ years' experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (i.e., ISO 9000, 13485, or similar).
- Prior experience as head of or member of an organization's safety committee.
- Kaizen training certificate, preferable.
- Familiar with OSHA/CalOSHA regulations related to employee safety.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Experience in designing and delivering blended learning solutions (classroom, e-learning, AI, etc.).
- Proficient with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organization skills.
- Able to assess learning needs and design programs that improve performance and productivity.
- Ability to learn new software programs and create applicable training programs, i.e., HubSpot, QT9, and Syteline.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to collaborate with diverse teams across the organization.
- Flexible and adaptable to evolving learning needs.
