Position Overview: The Process Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing manufacturing operations, focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This position requires collaboration with various departments to ensure production goals are met while maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to achieve daily production targets and manage special projects.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives on assigned production lines, focusing on efficiency, waste reduction, quality enhancement, and safety measures.
  • Support Product Development and Quality Assurance teams in implementing new products and processes, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
  • Maintain and update operational documentation, ensuring that process conditions and metrics are clearly defined and communicated to operators.
  • Provide daily technical guidance and support to production crews and maintenance teams.
  • Oversee the process definition for new production lines and major equipment, ensuring comprehensive documentation of process conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, including internships.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and improving processes for high-speed consumer goods, packaging, or web converting equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and audit operational systems and procedures.
  • Self-motivated with a collaborative approach to enhancing product performance and implementing new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective vendor management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Process Control (SPC) is advantageous.
  • Project management experience is beneficial.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with CAD software are preferred.
