About the Role

At Charles Schwab, we're seeking a talented Investment Consultant to join our team. As an Investment Consultant, you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow within our Branch Network, gaining exposure and experience required to advance in this challenging space.

You'll be responsible for building a book of business through proactive, outbound calls to existing Schwab clients, uncovering opportunities through needs-based analysis and positioning appropriate products and solutions. You'll also observe our skilled Financial Consultants and learn how to deliver unparalleled value and service through collaboration and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of brokerage and banking products and services
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and needs-based analysis
  • Position and sell Schwab's products and services to existing clients
  • Collaborate with Financial Consultants to deliver exceptional client service and support
Requirements
  • A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program)
  • A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment)
  • A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained under a condition of employment)
  • 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Ability to leverage business development experience
  • Passion for gaining knowledge of brokerage and banking products and services
  • Openness to build strong client relationships
