About the Role

As a Financial Consultant at Charles Schwab, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow within our Branch Network at the ground floor. This role provides the exposure and experience required to advance in the challenging space of financial consulting. You will learn what it takes to build a book of business through proactive, outbound calls to existing Schwab clients, uncovering opportunities through needs-based analysis and positioning appropriate products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing Schwab clients
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product offerings
  • Collaborate with experienced Financial Consultants to learn best practices
Requirements
  • A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program)
  • A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment)
  • A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained under a condition of employment)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Ability to leverage Business development experience
  • Passion for gaining knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services
  • Openness to build strong client relationships
