Job Title: Business Operations Analyst - DOT

Location: Washington, DC

Overview:

The Business Operations Analyst - DOT will work closely with both the customer and internal teams to understand business needs, support solution development, and ensure effective implementation. This role will provide ongoing support during the continuous operations phase and contribute to improving the client's program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the financial team to document business needs, recommend process improvements, and develop process documents, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including balance sheets, income statements, and financial ratios.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of accounting principles and intermediate Excel skills.
  • Assist in developing, tracking, and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive performance improvements.
  • Manage and update SharePoint lists, libraries, and public-facing website content.
  • Provide operational support by scheduling meetings, taking notes, procuring office space, managing shared document libraries, and other duties as assigned.
  • Create and maintain high-quality content such as briefings, presentations, project plans, and reports.
  • Support day-to-day client activities and collaborate with management to meet program deliverables and provide rapid assistance when needed.

Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Required
  • Intermediate Excel & Spreadsheet Skills - Required
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365 - Required
  • Intermediate working knowledge of accounting principles and data analysis - Required
  • 1-2 years of government contracting experience - Required
  • Active Public Trust Clearance - Preferred
  • Knowledge of the commercial motor carrier industry - Preferred
