We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at Brunswick New York Mills Operations. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and department-specific Quality Inspection, auditing, compliance, and Critical Process inspections throughout the plant in a standardized, efficient, and repeatable manner.
- Provide training to others on critical-to-quality product and process criteria.
- Move boats to various locations (repaint, outside, warehouse, etc.) manually or by pallet jack and assist in heat-shrinking boats as required.
- Work on special projects geared towards product or process improvement.
- Serve as a gatekeeper for customer satisfaction and a quality leader within the facility.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read drawings and specifications.
- Solid mechanical skills, basic math and reading skills, and ability to utilize hand and power tools.
- Computer, math, and reading proficiency and ability to use databases.
- Ability to receive and follow instruction.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to change with attention to detail.
This role requires working in a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and odors. Physical exertion is required, including standing, bending, and twisting for a 10-hour shift. Vision protection and steel-toed shoes are required. Hearing protection may be required.
