Position Overview:
We are looking for a proficient and experienced Maintenance Technician to enhance our dynamic team within the manufacturing sector. This role presents a chance to utilize and grow your expertise in a fast-paced, high-output environment. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting preventative maintenance on packaging and filling machinery to ensure peak performance and reduce downtime.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing packaging and filling systems, swiftly identifying and addressing issues to minimize production interruptions.
  • Managing line changeovers and setups efficiently to facilitate smooth transitions between different product runs.
  • Implementing lock out tag out procedures to maintain safety during maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Interpreting blueprints to comprehend equipment layouts and operational processes.
  • Performing electrical troubleshooting to resolve electrical malfunctions in machinery.
  • Executing mechanical maintenance on various components, including motors and conveyors.
  • Working with pneumatic systems, understanding their functions, and performing necessary maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in line changeovers, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of packaging and filling equipment.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance on liquid filling machines is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of lock out tag out procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
  • Proven skills in electrical troubleshooting.
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance, particularly with motors and conveyors.
  • Familiarity with pneumatic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
