Position Overview:
We are in search of a proficient and knowledgeable Maintenance Technician to enhance our dynamic team within the manufacturing sector. This role presents a chance to utilize and further develop your expertise in a fast-paced, high-output environment. Your responsibilities will include the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of packaging and filling machinery, as well as facilitating efficient line changeovers and setups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on packaging and filling machinery to ensure peak performance and reduce downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair packaging and filling equipment, swiftly addressing issues to minimize production interruptions.
  • Efficiently manage line changeovers and setups to guarantee seamless transitions between different product runs.
  • Follow lock out tag out protocols to maintain safety during maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Interpret blueprints to comprehend equipment layouts and operational procedures.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting to resolve electrical malfunctions in machinery.
  • Execute mechanical maintenance on various components, including motors and conveyors.
  • Work with pneumatic systems, ensuring their proper operation and conducting necessary maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in line changeovers, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of packaging and filling equipment.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance on liquid filling machinery is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of lock out tag out procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
  • Proven skills in electrical troubleshooting.
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance, particularly with motors and conveyors.
  • Familiarity with pneumatic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capacity to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
