Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Assistant to join our Observation Unit team at Kaiser Permanente in Seattle, Washington. As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and support to patients in their residences, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and transferring patients.
  • Participate as a member of the healthcare team in providing patient care, taking vital signs, and maintaining documentation on paper or electronic charts.
  • Assist in the observation of patients' symptoms and report changes in patients' condition.
  • Maintain cleanliness of patients' care environment, including changing bed linens and setting up special equipment.
  • Perform simple laboratory tests, such as diabetic tests and stool guiac, and obtain C and S specimens.
Requirements
  • Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting or experience involving direct patient care.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Registered Nursing Assistant (Washington) required at hire or Nursing Assistant Certificate (Washington) required at hire.
  • Driver's License (Washington) required.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
