Job Description

**About the Role**

Uncommon Schools is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a key role in driving business decisions through data-driven insights.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision making
  • Design and implement data visualizations and reports to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Develop and maintain data models and databases to support business intelligence solutions
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation and data governance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions to business challenges

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent subject
  • 5-6 years of professional experience in IT or Data, with 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence
  • Expertise in data-driven dashboard/analytics design, development, and implementation
  • Coding skills in R, Python, and SQL
  • Experience with Tableau, Superset, or similar visualization software
  • Experience with DBT or similar data modeling platform
