We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Informatics Coordinator to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless integration of clinical applications and tools throughout our facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and support division-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to CPOE and other clinical applications and tools.
- Develop, execute, and support education plans, tools, and resources focused on the CPOE clinical initiative, Meaningful Use, and additional clinical applications as developed and implemented.
- Facilitate and project lead the CPOE and advanced clinical system functions implementation.
- Resolve complex issues and requests escalated from the division Service Desk or other division or facility service resources.
- Evidence-Based Order set review, approval, and build within the facility.
- Ongoing monitoring of various advanced clinicals usage trend reports. Identify gaps/areas of opportunity and develop action plans to address areas of concern.
- Associate's Degree
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or in progress
- Registered Nurse license in Texas. If Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire
