Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Dietitian to join our team at Med Center Health. As a key member of our Community Wellness & Bariatric Services team, you will play a vital role in promoting healthy lifestyles and providing nutritional education to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement community-based programs and initiatives to promote healthy eating habits and weight management.
  • Provide nutritional counseling and education to patients and community members through various channels, including health fairs, local events, and online platforms.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to market our services and promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Evaluate patient's nutritional status and develop personalized plans to support their health goals.
  • Lead support group education meetings and provide guidance to bariatric surgery patients on pre- and post-surgery nutrition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in dietetics and a completed internship program required.
  • Licensed in the state of Kentucky and Commission on Dietetic Registration (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) required.
  • Certified Diabetes Educator credential strongly preferred.
