Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health Specialist to join our team at Kobe Aluminum Automotive Products.

The successful candidate will assist with environmental, health, and safety activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily walks through the facility and waste storage area to identify safety and environmental issues.
  • Perform water sampling and testing, and assist in waste spill cleanup.
  • Monitor plant safety supplies and stock PPE as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste shipments.
  • Provide support to EHS leadership and engineers in conducting safety and environmental audits.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some experience in the Environmental, Health, and Safety field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
