  • Provide daily direction to sales associates and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Support the Group Sales or Department Manager in achieving departmental sales, gross margin, inventory shrinkage, and payroll goals.
  • Prepare to-do/task lists and execute all merchandising directives.
  • Assist in interviewing, training, and coaching sales associates to promote positive customer relations and a productive team-oriented work environment.
  • Resolve customer and associate opportunities with the Group Sales or Department Manager and HR Manager.
  • Maintain a high level of personal customer service and achieve better-than-company-average customer service results.
  • Remain a product expert through ongoing product knowledge training and conduct product demos to the entire staff.
  • Assist in coordinating all special events, maintaining pricing and UPC integrity, determining proper assortments, accuracy of inventory, and proper display, signing, and pricing of all advertised items.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in retail sales.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
