Thermal Engineer Job Description

Tesla is seeking a highly skilled Thermal Engineer to join our team in Vehicle Engineering. As a Thermal Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative thermal systems for our vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement thermal models for hardware optimization, controls, and diagnostics.
  • Test and analyze thermal systems, including instrumentation, data acquisition, and processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance thermal components and systems.
Requirements:
  • Excellent understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
  • Experience in developing numerical models and experimental characterization of thermal/fluid systems and heat exchangers.
