Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity in Lancaster/Desoto

Therapy 2000/Green Apple Therapy is seeking a qualified Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist or SLP-A/Clinical Fellow to join our team in Lancaster/Desoto. As a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, we offer a unique opportunity for professionals to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy.
- Develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders, utilizing clinical judgment and expertise.
- Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs that promote continued progress and improvement.
- Act as a vital member of the patients' medical neighborhoods, coordinating care with various providers and disciplines to ensure comprehensive support.
- Meet deadlines for completing patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and other necessary paperwork.
- Participate in regular meetings with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
- An innovative spirit, complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability and flexibility.
- Ability to use common workplace technology, including laptops, phones, email, and web browsers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience in a home-health setting.
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
