Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Healthcare Customer Service Associate plays a crucial role in the Diagnostic Imaging department by performing a variety of administrative and support tasks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing incoming calls and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Inputting patient information and scheduling appointments efficiently.
  • Coordinating the reception of patients and ensuring a smooth check-in process.
  • Processing film requests and assisting with report modifications.
  • Enhancing the patient experience by reducing wait times and addressing concerns.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in an administrative or receptionist role.
  • Proficient computer and typing skills.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines and copiers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Capable of following both oral and written instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
