The Service Coordinator is the primary point of contact for customers seeking repair services for their equipment. This role requires excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Field customer inquiries and dispatch service technicians as needed
- Post time daily and input into payroll system
- Open and close all work orders for service technicians
- Issue purchase orders for field service technicians and non-shop job needs, track open POs, and receipt-in when invoices arrive
- Process credit card payments when necessary
- Process filing of closed work orders
- Set up all new PM contracts in the NDS system
- Input all amendments for PMs in NDS
- Run monthly reports
- Run PM lists on the 1st and 15th of each month and provide to designated technicians
- Maintain Dispatch Log
- Basic computer skills: typing, NDS, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to work with customers and provide excellent customer service skills
- Open/close work orders
- Maintain dispatch log
- Input technician hours into payroll system
- Maintain purchase order system for vendor purchases
- Coordinate technicians
2-3 years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma or GED are required.
Work Conditions and Physical DemandsThis position is in an office setting with a quiet to moderate noise level. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. Normal manual dexterity and the ability to effectively manipulate a keyboard and phone are required.
