Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Manager to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our front-end operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, leading omnichannel processes, and maintaining store recovery standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of customer-centric shopping experiences by managing front-end operations and expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs to minimize losses and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with cash reconciliation and bank deposits, as well as inventory processes, including Return to Vendor (RTV) and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) activities.
  • Train, observe, and coach the customer experience team to achieve results and support Talent Development.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty and interact with customers in a positive and respectful manner.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to drive results and improve processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
