Job Summary

Granite is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Raising Director to join our team. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive capital raising strategies to support our commercial real estate investment projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement capital raising strategies in conjunction with Granite's Executive Committee, Market Leaders, and senior Investment Group members.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with institutional investors, family offices, pension funds, endowments, and other potential investors to expand Granite's investor base.
  • Maintain accurate records of investor interactions, commitments, and fund flows, and provide regular updates and reports to senior management on fundraising progress and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with Granite's CFO, CIO, and Investment Group and Marketing team on the development and quality control of investor materials.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes impacting the commercial real estate and capital markets to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, or related roles within the commercial real estate investment sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully raising capital from institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Deep understanding of commercial real estate investment principles, financial analysis, and capital markets dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to independently move throughout the office and consistently and continuously perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Travel Requirements
  • Up to 5% travel.
