The successful candidate will be tasked with evaluating project designs and specifications, interpreting blueprints, and generating precise cost assessments. Primary Responsibilities:


Blueprint Evaluation: Analyze and interpret architectural and engineering plans to ascertain project needs.


Cost Assessment: Create thorough cost assessments for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.


Proposal Development: Formulate and present competitive bids and proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).


Collaboration with Contractors: Engage with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and ensure accuracy in estimates.


Documentation Management: Keep precise records of all estimates, bids, and related project documentation.


Budget Oversight: Aid in tracking project budgets to ensure alignment with initial cost estimates.


Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining project quality and specifications.


Risk Evaluation: Assess potential risks and challenges associated with project costs and timelines.


Team Collaboration: Work in conjunction with project managers, engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure project coherence.

Required Qualifications:


Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction or a related field.


Technical Proficiency: Skilled in reading and interpreting construction documents and blueprints. Strong familiarity with estimating software (e.g., ProEst, PlanSwift, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.


Communication Abilities: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with contractors, suppliers, and team members.


Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and precision in preparing estimates and proposals.


Analytical Skills: Ability to recognize potential issues and devise effective solutions.


Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
