Job Summary:
Christus Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medsurg 4main team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate patient teaching and the activities of ancillary nursing personnel.
- Provide direct and indirect care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a State Board-accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years acute hospital Medsurg or Telemetry experience preferred.
- Current RN license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
- American Heart Association BLS – within two (2) weeks of employment.
- ACLS – preferred within eight (8) weeks of employment.
