Occupational Health Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Medicine Technician to join our team at Medical Network of Alaska. As a key member of our Employee Health and Occupational Medicine department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical administrative support services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Comply with regulatory agency rules and regulations to maintain federal, state, and local compliance.
- Perform patient triage and vital sign checks, and assist medical providers with patient care.
- Conduct various occupational health testing procedures, including audiograms, RMA/PFTs, FCEs, and fit testing.
- Collect samples on-site and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; EMT II/III, Paramedic, or CMA certification preferred.
- 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPR/First Aid Certification and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- General knowledge of EMR software and Outlook programs.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
