Therapeutic Communication Specialist Opportunity in Virtual K-12 Educational Environments

Overview:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Therapeutic Communication Specialist to join our team of professionals in virtual K-12 educational settings. As a Therapeutic Communication Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional speech and language therapy services to students, helping them enhance their communication skills in a fully remote role.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Therapeutic Communication Specialist to provide virtual speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 educational settings. As a Therapeutic Communication Specialist, you will work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best possible care and support for students with communication disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
  • Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers

Requirements:

To be successful as a Therapeutic Communication Specialist, you will need to have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current Massachusetts SLP license. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders is required, and experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
