Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue marketing opportunities, collaborating effectively to secure projects from municipal and county governments.
  • Oversee project management, ensuring the design and production of plans and specifications meet deadlines, profitability targets, and quality standards.
  • Foster respectful working relationships with project managers and other company leaders.
  • Support the development and mentorship of junior staff members.
  • Engage actively in professional organizations to enhance industry presence.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida.
  • At least 10 years of experience in water and wastewater utility design and construction.
  • Ability to independently manage small to medium-sized projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; MicroStation experience is a plus.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Demonstrated expertise in business development, focusing on identifying and winning projects.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Familiarity with clients in the Tampa Bay region.
  • Experience with utility relocation projects in roadway construction.
  • Knowledge of FDOT standards.
