Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the School of Medicine Admissions team to revise application materials and oversee applicant communications.
  • Organize interview events and facilitate the transition to enrollment in the Laney Graduate School.
  • Maintain comprehensive recruitment statistics, alumni records, and student information.
  • Plan and execute program events, including venue bookings, catering, and travel logistics.
  • Manage program finances, including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Negotiate with external vendors and supervise program procurement processes.
  • Act as a primary contact for external inquiries and support program activities.
  • Design, coordinate, and assess program operations and objectives.
  • Provide training for staff, conduct financial forecasting, and develop fundraising initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field along with five years of experience in program management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems.
