About the Role

The Data Delivery Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of Data capabilities required for Enterprise Transformations. This individual will serve as the key conduit between project sponsors, stakeholders, and external data delivery partners, ensuring the timely implementation and success of Data-related projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities, prioritize requirements, and provide problem-solving support to Enterprise Data teams.
  • Support the documentation of business requirements and user stories from stakeholders.
  • Prioritize the requirements catalogue and user story backlog.
  • Coordinate interactions with business platforms and entities.
  • Support alignment meetings and create detailed project plans and sprint backlogs.
  • Develop and deliver project work plans, revising as necessary to meet changing needs or requirements.
  • Identify resources, assign responsibilities, and oversee the delivery of project activity across the business.
  • Drive projects to completion, including re-planning and finding alternative approaches to overcome obstacles.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risk to project delivery.
  • Deliver projects within the prescribed governance structure.
  • Build, track, maintain, and report project budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide data-driven account management, project management, and sales support to clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in successful delivery of complex data-related projects end-to-end.
  • Experience in Agile or DataOps delivery, quality practices, techniques, and tools at all layers of data engineering.
  • Technical expertise in recent technologies, including Azure cloud API, unstructured data, and business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and other prioritization tools.
  • Knowledge and experience with project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) to work with intricate, multifaceted projects.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Comfortable with changing and flexible requirements from business owners.
  • Customer-oriented attitude.
  • High degree of self-motivation.
  • Experience managing third-party relationships in the successful achievement of customer deliveries.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality projects and programs up to medium to large-sized accounts.
  • Ability to communicate clearly to all levels and present to senior leadership.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and direct medium to large-sized engineering delivery teams.
  • Ability to help define delivery management core processes and improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrated attentiveness to quality and productivity as outcomes.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage significant delivery budgets and minimize program variances.
  • Strong ability to lead teams across multiple shores.
  • Strong ETL skills and working experience with SSIS and related functions.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse and data lake frameworks.
