Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Northern Nevada Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our OR, you will provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations, addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical and Pain Center environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, communicating effectively with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist with the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, identifying opportunities for growth and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Assess the operating room/procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtaining supplies for individual cases and ensuring all necessary needs of the surgical team are met.
- Monitor, position, and assist patients during procedures, prioritizing their comfort and safety.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.
- At least one year of Operating Room experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
