Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Integrated Resources. As an Interventional Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases, scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralists.
  • Operate floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines with strong knowledge and expertise.
  • Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Operate power injection of iodinated contrast media devices during diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case loads, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team, including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons, using closed-loop communication to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Document patient information and send images to Sectra/PACs systems, adhering to electronic medical record standards.
  • Manage groin sites post-intervention, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to BLS standards and demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardio-Vascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
  • Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state.
  • BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or completion of an accredited radiographic program.

Work Schedule

2 FTEs, 5-day week shifts vary based on department needs with weekend and weekday on-call requirements.
