Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures using various modalities, including fluoroscopy and X-ray, to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and setting exposure factors.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate exam performance and patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate medical imaging records and ensure compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers and physicists to optimize equipment performance and ensure optimal operational capabilities.
Requirements
  • Vocational diploma from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
  • At least six months to one year of experience in the interventional field, or an associate's degree from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program and 0-3 years of experience as an Imaging Services Technologist.
