Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Morristown, New Jersey.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiographic licensure and experience working with fluoroscopic modality machines. The successful candidate will be able to assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases, and maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases
  • Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures
  • Operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Strong communication skills using closed loop communication
  • Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs system
  • Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure
  • Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state
  • BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures
