- Curriculum Development: Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum to meet the needs of the Mechanical Design Technology program.
- Student Assessment: Assess student learning and progress in the Mechanical Design Technology program.
- Program Promotion: Promote the Mechanical Design Technology program to potential students and industry partners.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments and best practices in mechanical design technology.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or willingness to obtain a Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.
- Experience: Two years (4,000 hours) of paid work experience related to the program(s) being taught, including one year (2,000 hours) of related paid work experience acquired within the past five years.
- Licensure: Must maintain and/or obtain Higher Learning Commission, Faculty Quality Assurance System, and other agency requirements and licensure required to maintain individual and program accreditation, if applicable.
