Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist II/III or Licensed to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health department, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to our clients, working collaboratively with our medical providers to establish a whole health home for our patients.

Job Summary:

The Mental Health Therapist II/III or Licensed will provide individual and group counseling, case management, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment planning. You will also provide referrals and coordination with medication providers, primary care physicians, and other community agencies. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to accurately diagnose mental health issues and develop treatment plans based on diagnoses.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling to clients with mental health issues
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Provide case management and crisis stabilization services
  • Coordinate with medication providers, primary care physicians, and other community agencies
  • Assist with program development, policy and procedure development, and compliance with WACs and RCWs
Requirements:
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work
  • Four or more years of clinical experience in the field
  • Active, approved license from the Washington State Department of Health
  • Meet criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP)
