About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Columbus Springs East, a part of Lifepoint Behavioral Health. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in our inpatient psychiatric facility.

Responsibilities
  • Support the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN.
  • Supervise and maintain patient safety.
  • Ensure that the schedule/program is delivered consistently.
  • Safeguard the dignity and respect of our patients and guests.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma.
  • Driver's License with a favorable Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Proof of Insurance.
  • CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an inpatient psychiatric or healthcare facility.
  • Previous direct patient care experience with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
