Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our department.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Cath Lab is a licensed professional who uses the BSWH nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery by the healthcare team. Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the patient, identifies nursing diagnoses based on responses to health problems, develops and implements an individualized plan of care, and evaluates the patient's response.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent full-time RN experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
