Job Summary

We are seeking an Electronics Specialist to join our team at Aerotech, Inc. The successful candidate will assist engineers with prototype electronic components, conduct functional tests to evaluate electronic equipment, and troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment to the component level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study drawings, manuals, or specifications to troubleshoot electronic components
  • Assist engineers with prototype electronic components
  • Follow detailed instructions and procedures to conduct functional tests to evaluate electronic equipment
  • Read and interpret schematic, assembly, and wiring diagrams
  • Adjust and calibrate electronic equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment to the component level
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
  • Three to five years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to use digital multimeters, current probes, and oscilloscopes
  • Ability to identify basic electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes while reading a schematic
  • Ability to solder surface mount and through hole components
