Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Benshaw Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical quality assurance, with experience in wiring, assembly, and testing/troubleshooting drives, soft starters, sub-assemblies, or similar components.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing inspections of in-process and outgoing components and assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with company, governmental, and UL standards.
  • Collaborating with operations teams to suggest process improvements based on First Pass Yield (FPY) results.
  • Developing project plans and delivering presentations on Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to various stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and maintaining critical equipment and instrumentation for quality control.
  • Drafting procedures and assisting in their implementation to support adherence to quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting and validating testing methods, as well as interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Documenting quality records in IFS and maintaining photographic records as required.

Requirements include:

  • 2-3 years of experience in electrical quality assurance or a related field.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Electronics or technical trade school certification is preferred.
  • Proven teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work with complex electronic assemblies.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and using computer software (Windows, Word, Access, Excel, Outlook).
  • Dependable, with flexibility for overtime as needed.
