Lange Recruiting seeks a skilled and energetic Ophthalmic Technician to join our dynamic team.
Job DescriptionWe are a family-oriented private eye care practice committed to delivering exceptional services with a personal touch. Our ideal candidate is responsible for the work up, education, and follow-up of current and potential patients.
Duties:- Rooming patients and ensuring smooth patient flow
- Performing visual acuities and pressure checks
- Testing for visual field and administering diagnostic imaging (OCT - optical coherence tomography, fundus photos)
- Supporting physicians during in-office procedures
- Answering patient questions and handling telephone inquiries
The successful applicant must have:
- A minimum of two years experience working in ophthalmic care, preferably with COA or COT certification
- Experience in refracting and proficient computer and EMR skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an outgoing and friendly personality
- The ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team
Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 7:45am-5:00pm
- Friday: 7:45am-1:00pm
- No nights, no weekends
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience, plus benefits.
